Introduction As the seasons change, does your
child seem to be more susceptible to illness?
Kids have very sensitive bodies, and you need to
take care of them properly during the season
change. As parents, it is your responsibility to
take care of your child and see if they will not
get sick during this variation. Most parents feel
that cold weather is the cause of their kids'
sickness, but this is not the only reason. Season
change can also be the cause of their sickness.
In this presentation here at Preschool Palos
Verdes Estates, CA, the team has mentioned some
tips that will work for you.  Let's read it

Improve nutrition Problem According to health
experts, nutrients from vitamins, minerals,
carbs, protein, and fat are crucial for a strong
immune system so that it can fend off illness.
Your child's immunity may be weakened by a
consistent diet of processed and fast meals that
are high in added sugar and fat, making them more
vulnerable to viruses and bacteria that thrive in
colder weather. Solution The Physician's
Committee for Responsible Medicine advised using
whole plant foods as the foundation of meals and
snacks. These include fruits, vegetables, whole
grains, legumes, and nuts. Whole grain meals
contain less fat, no cholesterol, and no added
salt, sugar, or oil. They also provide all of
your essential nutrients as well as a healthy
dose of fiber and antioxidants.

Practice Good Hygiene One of the most crucial
lessons you can teach your kids is good hygiene.
Most viruses, like rhinoviruses, can survive
outside the body for three hours, but they can
occasionally survive for up to 48 hours on
touchable surfaces like doorknobs, tables,
chairs, switches, and so on. Therefore, we must
teach our kids to regularly wash their hands and
to refrain from touching their faces, eyes,
noses, or other sensitive areas while in public
to reduce the chance that they could contract an
infection.

Handwashing is key Although some diseases can be
spread through the air, most disease transmission
occurs when children exchange toys, hold hands,
and generally distribute germs. Handwashing has
become a common practice among children. To
decrease disease, encourage your kids to practice
that habit.

Continue to hydrate your child Water aids in the
body's removal of poisons. But as the seasons
change, the significance of water is heightened
even further because it aids in temperature
regulation in the body. Kids who don't drink
enough water have dry throats and nasal passages.
As a result, pathogens can easily infiltrate
their bodies. Simply making sure your child
drinks plenty of water throughout the day can
solve half the issue.
Note The Child Care Palos Verdes , CA staff
advise against giving water to infants younger
than six months. Mother's milk provides adequate
hydration. Simply make sure you adequately
breastfeed your infant in this situation.
