Title: Traditional Mongolian Pork Recipe
1Traditional Mongolian Pork Recipe
Almost everyone loves Vietnamese stir-fried
dishes and there are a number of reasons why
people love them. However, the two most popular
reasons why they are best are due to flavours
and easy-to-make. Vietnamese pork dishes are
highly in demand in Sydney because they are
absolutely amazing and bursting with flavours.
Plus they cook in no time. All it takes is
stir-frying the ingredients on a high flame and
it is done in about 30 minutes. As one of the
most popular Vietnamese pork dishes in Sydney,
Mongolian Pork is a new spin-off to an age-old
classic pork dish. Mongolian pork tastes so much
better than Mongolian Beef. In this article, we
are going to share the famous Mongolian pork
recipe that you can prepare as your weeknight
meal
The Ingredients youll need
- 300g pork belly or tenderloin
- 150g Baby Corn
- 150g Red Capsicum (thinly sliced)
- 150g Broccolini
- 150g onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. Ginger
- 1 Cup dark brown sugar
2- ½ soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Peanut oil
- Sesame seeds to serve
- Rice to serve
Preparation
- Place it in the freezer for 10 minutes to thinly
slice the tenderloin. If you can, slice it with
a thickness of about ? inch. - Make sure the pork is thoroughly coated by
tossing it in a bowl with the cornstarch. Add
some oil to a large skillet or pan and put it on
medium-high heat. - Shake off any excess cornstarch from the pork and
cook the pork for 4-5 minutes. Ensure that it is
properly cooked and sear it until it is charred.
Take it out of the pan when it's
well-caramelised and cooked. - Now add and cook the ginger and garlic in the
skillet for 30 seconds. Bring to a boil after
adding the soy sauce, water, and dark brown
sugar. - Add your sorted greens like capsicum, baby corn
and broccolini if you would like to serve it
with vegetables. However, ensure to not overcook
the veggies. Try and keep them crunchy and not
chewy. - Cook everything you previously added for 30 more
seconds after adding the pork back in. Serve the
rice with some spring/green onions on top. - Notes
- Put the pork in the freezer for ten to thirty
minutes to make it simpler to slice thinly and
evenly. - Use consistent cutting sizes to ensure that the
pork cooks evenly. - Cook the pork in batches to avoid overcrowding
the skillet or wok and letting it cool down. In
an effort to cook the pork quickly, adding too
much at once will complicate the process. - Although not customary, you can add some heat by
adding ¼ teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
while stirring. - Now that we have shared with you the recipe for
this amazing pork dish, it's time to try this at
your home and relish it with your loved ones.
However, if you are not too confident you can
try this outstanding pork dish along with some of
the other pork dishes in Sydney at The Hanoi
