SOLID WOOD

• Solid wood is wood that has been cut from a tree.
  Solid wood is a term most commonly used to
  distinguish between ordinary lumber and
  engineered wood.
• At Durian, we use German Beechwood
• Durian Beechwood is sourced from European
  countries. These countries ensure that wood is
  Kiln Dried as compared South Asian Countries
• All edges are concealed with edge bandings no
  deformation/delamination
• Machine processed ensuring dimension accuracy,
  smooth finished edges, and non-chipping

ENGINEERED WOOD

• Engineered Wood is man made wood which
  is manufactured by binding or fixing the strands,
  particles, fibers, or veneers or boards of wood,
  together with adhesives, or other methods of
  fixation to form composite
• Includes both MDF Particle Board
• ADVANTAGES OF ENGINEERED WOOD
• MDF is made out 2 types of wood i.e. Bagasse
  (Agricultural waste)
• Solid wood leftovers.

PLYWOOD
A very strong and bendable type of wood made from
alternating veneer sheets and compressed together
to make a plywood sheet. Durian Plywood is made
from A Grade Eucalyptus Wood Durian is the Only

BLOCKBOARD

• Blockboard consists of a core made of wooden
  strips or blocks, placed edge to edge between two
  layers of plywood, which are then glued together
  under high pressure.
• Substitute of plywood
• Light weight
• Durian Blockboard is made from Kiln Dried
  Pinewood sources from Canada
• They are generally used to make mostly shutter
  Large Sizes Table tops.
• Blockboards are less prone to sagging or bending
  and mostly preferred for furniture whose length
  is more.
• Blockboards are available in various finishes
  thus, can be painted and polished.
