Title: Indian Weddings Require A Considerable Amount Of Decoration

Decoration

3Indian weddings are splendid affairs. There are a
number of different celebrations and ceremonies
that take place before the actual wedding itself,
but the wedding and the party afterwards are
massive, with just about anyone invited. You can
be the second cousin of the bride twice removed,
not ever met the groom, and the bride only once,
and still you get an invitation to the wedding.
This is why Indian weddings are such huge
proceedings. There can easily be 700 1,000
people at an Indian wedding. It follows that, if
you are going to have that number of people to a
wedding reception, you need a very big venue, and
it is going to need a lot of decoration. After
all, when you are spending that sort of money on
a wedding (and it is usually the brides parents,
or more accurately, the father, who will pay for
it) then splashing out a little extra in order to
ensure that the wedding decorations look
incredible is a good investment. Very often,
the groom will arrive at the ceremony in splendid
attire on a horse especially decorated for the
occasion, or in India itself it may even be an
elephant! However, not all grooms go to that
length, and today a lot will arrive in a car
covered in flowers and ribbons. We can help with
such decorations at Kenza Creations, as it is our
business to produce stunning décor for any
occasion, and especially wedding décor.
4- We have years of experience, and over a long time
we have been building up and adding to our stocks
of decorative items in our warehouse, so that
today we can offer you almost endless choices and
variations, including unusual ornaments and items
that will make your wedding venue a scene that
will amaze and astonish your guests. - The Mandap
- Another important element of an Indian wedding
is, of course, the mandap, which is effectively
the altar for Hindu and Jain weddings. It has
four pillars which represent earth, air, water,
and fire, demonstrating energy and symbolising
spirituality. Bold and vibrant colours can be
used in the mandap decoration, but you should not
use black (unlucky), white (associated with
funerals), or red (which is the colour that the
bride wears). - Having provided decoration for so many weddings
over the years, we are familiar with many of the
venues in and around London, and further afield
as well. However, if it is a venue that we have
not decorated before, we will visit it so that we
can make recommendations for you.
