cure of disease. Requirements for Licensing
Every person desiring to practice medicine shall,
before beginning to practice, procure from the
Board a license or permit authorizing such
practice. A license or permit may be issued to
any person who is lawfully entitled to remain
and work in the CNMI and has completed one year
of postgraduate training approved by the Board.
Minimum educational requirement graduation with
degree of Doctor of Medicine from a US or
Canadian medical school listed as approved by the
Council on Medical Education and Hospitals,
American Medical Association in the list
published for the year of the applicant's
graduation or graduation with degree of Doctor
of Medicine or equivalent degree from a medical
school other than one covered by the paragraph
above (including foreign schools),
