their Long Island edition. From there, Billy
continued areer as a side project and creative
outlet during his time running the family
painting business.

focuses on missing persons and unsolved murders,
first in his writing and later as an active
investigator solving crimes. His skills as a
digital executive translated into his
investigative work, and he has been integral in
solving ten homicides as well as locating missing
persons.

Billy Jensen is an investigative reporter who
served as executive producer and co-host for
Unraveled, a multi-part series on Discovery.
Additionally, he collaborates on The First Degree
podcast with Jac Vanek and Alexis Linkletter.

Worked as A Listings Assistant
Billy Jensen found himself grieving his fathers
death while simultaneously celebrating the birth
of his daughter. Shortly before that, his first
feature story was published, and he decided to
leave professional roller hockey to explore
writing. He worked as a listings assistant and
was promoted to listings editor while also
reporting for the New York Times on weekends.
