PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying
Exam) The initial certification exam for
Physician Assistants (PAs). PANRE (Physician
Assistant National Recertifying Exam) Required
every 10 years to maintain PA certification. PANRE
-LA (Physician Assistant National Recertifying
Exam - Longitudinal Assessment) An alternative
recertification process with ongoing assessments.
