The aims of this presentation are

• to explore the kinds of technology used by a
  research mentor and her mentees over 7 years.
• to explore the impact technology has had on the
  transactional nature of their discourse.
• to consider how technology has influenced the
  continuing professional development of the
  research mentor and her mentees.
