2Teacher Philosophy
Teacher Philosophy One of the reasons why I
chose to become an art teacher is to be able to
help students develop a sense of appreciation for
the arts. When I spark the imagination of one
student, the accomplishment will be the greatest
feeling I could have as a teacher. I have the
ability to show the students that it is
acceptable to think differently from other
students and to be able to express those feelings
through design. Another reason I chose to
become an art teacher is my love for art and
children. My continuous passion for art has
inspired me to teach. I want to share my
creativity and desire with younger children so
that they know how art can influence their lives.
This creative ability will be useful throughout
a students career. I will be able to combine
different subjects so that the students have a
wide range of knowledge. Teaching art is
something that I have always wanted to do. My
experience as a graphic designer will allow me to
guide students in understanding how art can be
applied in the work field. My knowledge of
computers and graphic software will be a useful
tool in teaching art and are great strengths to
have as a teacher.
