Possible Problems
  • Students did not have enough time to practice
  • Students performance could have been affected by
    anxiety
  • Problems with the actual grade sheet
  • Students may not have known exactly what they
    were being graded on
  • Students may have been distracted by other things
    going on in the room

Possible Changes
  • Allowed more time for the students to practice
  • Graded by going around to each couple while
    everyone practiced instead of having them perform
    one at a time to eliminate spotlighting and
    performance anxiety
  • Let the students see the grade sheet before hand
    so they would know exactly what I was looking for
    in their performance and allow time for them to
    ask questions if something on it is unclear
  • Eliminate distractions by having all students
    except the 2 being tested to go practice in
    another room or an area far away from the
    students who are performing
