• Software package that provides Grid environment
  (API, MDS, and etc).
• Diverse resource management mechanism can be
  used.
• Provides pervasive, dependable, and consistent
  access to high-performance computational
  resources, despite geographical distribution of
  both resources and users.

My Project

• Install Globus package in GeorgiaTech and measure
  the performance on different resource management.
• Configure all Globus packages, GSI, MDS, GIIS,
  GRIS,
• Trouble-shooting all installation issues
• Document all installation steps
• Comparing performance and feature on LoadLeveler
  and Condor resource management service

• Use emulab to create different network topology
  to simulate the GRID environment.
• An environment that enable scientists to run
  network simulation
