Lord working with them and confirming the word

- Baptism of the Holy Spirit was promised to and
given only to the apostles. - Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished
among you with all perseverance, in signs and
wonders and mighty deeds. (2 Cor. 1212). - I thank my God I speak with tongues more than

claim - The baptism of the Holy Spirit was only for the
apostles. - There are no living apostles today to impart
spiritual gifts. - The need and purpose for spiritual gifts has
ceased because we now have the written word the
New Testament.
