  • Discharging the Client
  • If you know the upcoming date upon which the
    client will be Discharged, you can enter that
    future date in the Discharge Date field.
  • Because the closing of a clients Treatment
    Episode will (soon) prevent any further
    modification to any-and-all of the clients
    records (associated with this Episode), you will
    have a 7-calendar-day grace period, starting at
    the Discharge Date, to finish any data entry or
    update.
  • After the grace period has ended, no changes to
    client data for this Treatment Episode can happen
    (with the exception of updates to Comment fields).

Two warning messages will be displayed when a
Discharge Date is entered. First, if the Comment
text area is completely blank, this prompt is
displayed
because if the client receives Treatment with us
at some later date, it might be very helpful for
our staff then to know why the client was being
discharged now.
