Efnet 3 aims at developing a language and
creating a system of CAD data representation
base on XML (Extensible Markup Language)

• Efnet 3 is targeted to the first link of the
  added value chain (design) and focuses on shoe
  design

• Efnet 3 focuses on the relationship between
  manufacturers (model makers, last factories, heel
  factories, soles factories, shoe factories)

Aim of the meeting

• - How the project activities will be carried out
• To present the initial work made by Ceseca
  within the framework of WP1
• To present the software tools which will be
  used to define the ShoeML schema
• To define the goals and milestones for the
  Co-ordination Committee and the ShoeML Team
• To start the activities of the ShoeML Team
• To discuss administrative issues ( contracts,
  costs statements)

• University Degree
• Experience in the shoe sector
• Knowledge in programming of Cad Systems for the
  footwear industry
• Experience in 2D/3D data formats and data and
  data conversion routines
• Experience in data conversion routines and in
  software regard to data formats
• Knowledge of 3D/3D graphical applications and Cad
  systems
• Expertise in Object Oriented analysis and design
  of software application
• Knowledge in Object Oriented languages ( C,
  JAVA)
• Knowledge in UML based tools
• Knowledge of XML application development tools (
  like XML Spy or design XML based data formats)
• Experience in European Programmes
• Fluency in written and spoken English
