I work full time and my job requires me to travel
often. As a result have limited amount of time
to place trades and to track the results. I have
needed to find a trading strategy that provides a
profitable return with a limited amount of time
invested.

I have trading credit spreads extensively for the
past two years. Trading credit spreads, I have
found that long as you spot the trend, you can
trade as the stock goes up, down or sideways. If
you can always make a profitable trade, why would
you have to keep finding something else to trade.

• For the type of trading that I do, (I trade with
  a group of other people including Barbara Eagle
  and Deanna Doveatt) we look for
• Highly liquid ETFs (high volume, open interest)
• Dollar wide, so that we have a wild selection of
  strike prices
• not highly volatile
• Not a lot of price gaps
• Try to not have all of our products to be heavily
  correlated (for example spy, dia, qqqq an iwm)

We meet via telecom twice a week. Each call is
limited to 1 hour. We have found that For the
limited time have found that we can trade 4
products within the limited time. Over time, we
have added many products as we have refined our
criteria listed in the previous page.

trading Continental Airlines (CAL) spreads too
wide (5 wide) RUT decide to trade the IWM
ETF OIH spreads too wide (5 wide) Goldman
Sachs (GS) too volatile got stopped out too
many times

Products that we currently trade SPY one of
our original products IWM cheaper to trade than
the RUT XLE replacement for OIH USO just
starting to trade

As long as a product returns a steady profit, we
continue to trade it. If we keep getting hit with
a loss, we stop trading it and find a replacement.
