Grace Awakening, Part 1 The Free Gift of
Grace

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling
among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of
the One and Only, who came from the Father, full
of grace and truth From the fullness of his
grace we have all received one blessing after
another. For the law was given through Moses
grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
John 114-17

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has
strengthened me, because He considered me
faithful, putting me into service, even though I
was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a
violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because
I acted ignorantly in unbelief and the grace of
our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith
and love which are found in Christ Jesus. It
is a trustworthy statement, deserving full
acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world
to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.
Yet for this reason I found
mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus
Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as
an example for those who would believe in Him for
eternal life. 1 Timothy 112-16

1. The BENEFITS of understanding grace. Bless
the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His
benefits. Psalm 1032 a. You will recognize
and appreciate all of Gods GIFTS to you and
others. b. You will become less judgmental and
critical of the CHOICES of others. c. You
will greatly EXPAND your sphere of influence on
others toward God, which is MATURITY.

2. Grace Gods FREE gift to you. And you were
dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you
formerly walked according to the course of this
world, according to the prince of the power of
the air, of the spirit that is now working in the
sons of disobedience. Among them we too all
formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh,
indulging the desires of the flesh and of the
mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even
as the rest. But God being rich in mercy, because
of His great love with which He loved us, even
when we were dead in our transgressions, made us
alive together with Christ (by grace you have
been saved). Ephesians 21-5

3. The ALTERNATIVE to grace WORKS. For by
grace you have been saved through faith and
that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God
not as a result of works, that no one should
boast. Ephesians 28,9

I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting
Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a
different gospel which is really not another
only there are some disturbing you, and want to
distort the gospel of Christ. But even though we,
or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a
gospel contrary to that which we have preached to
you, let him be accursed. Galatians
16-8
