6Overview
- The Dashboard is a centralized location within
vPC-GR that allows its customers to manage their
individual profiles, submit online applications,
review the status of those applications,
coordinate on applications submitted to them for
action, and create/run individual and unit
reports.
7Dashboard Crosswalk
8Dashboard Overview
The new Dashboard will no longer have the
right-side navigation menu, thus expanding the
view field. For your convenience there will
still be Home Page and Log Out quick links
available.
9Dashboard Worklist
When looking for a specific application, use the
filters at the top of the Worklist tab to narrow
down your search. Recently added is the ability
to search for applications by the first and/or
last name of the member.
10Dashboard Roles Admin
The Roles Administration tab is only visible to
the Role Administrators. It is used to assign
members to their particular role within the
organizational hierarchy. The list of roles has
expanded now to accommodate all ARC organizations.
11Benefits to Airmen
- All vPC-GR account holders have dashboard
- One log-in for all vPC-GR actions/requests
- Members with assigned or delegated roles have
process oversight - Enables reporting and process tracking
- Coordinator e-mails reduced to one daily notice
for all tasks in Worklist - Expanded Search tool available for all action
requests
12Frequently Asked Questions
- Q What are the major changes that Dashboard
brings? - A The primary change is the capability for
customers to route applications and forms
electronically as well as manage their individual
profiles, submit online applications, review the
status of those applications, coordinate on
applications submitted to them for action, and
create/run individual reports. All that and the
availability of the digital signature, will save
units time and money.
13Frequently Asked Questions
- Q Why change now with the Defense Integrated
Military Human Resources System (DIMHRS) coming
online? - A Integrated Process Teams, which included a
cross section of Air Force personnel, recommended
going forward with enhancements now rather than
waiting on DIMHRS implementation. The technology
is available now and with the expeditionary
nature of our Air Force today, it makes sense to
take advantage of the technology available. The
implementation of the new process does not impact
DIMHRS and some of these new applications will
continue to be used after DIMHRS is active.
14Frequently Asked Questions
- Q How do I get assigned a role in Dashboard?
- A PSMs or HR DSAs should have a formal process
in place to ensure key unit members are given
functional roles, and maintain role assignments
for new and separating members, or update the
roles for those who transfer within the unit and
the positions change. - (Note Role assignment processes may also follow
you into the DIMHRS environment. In the interest
of leaning forward, it may be good for your
location to ensure a local process it
established.)
