Problem we are trying to solve

• David is 16.
• He did not achieve the 5A-C benchmark
• He has not got a place at any local institutions
  or providers
• Or
• He may complete NVQ level 1or 2 but remains at
  risk of unemployment/casual labour due to limited
  job opportunities opportunities.

Living Vision

• We believe we have the capacity to regenerate the
  area
• That we can track and provide appropriate support
  and guidance for all students from 14 19
  through their chosen pathway
• Enabling all students from the three schools to
  be involved in Education, Employment or training
• This will include increasing the provision
  offered through collaboration, linked to local
  employment opportunities

• Curriculum Mapping of local provision
• The governors from all schools gave approval to
  establish social enterprise and authorization for
  social enterprise to work on their behalf towards
  the aims
• Research into local economic and employment
  opportunities
• Hired consultant to help drive early stages

This is how we think life will be different for
David

• David will have an individual plan and
  tutor/dedicated mentor from year 9 that will
• Offer support and guidance
• Track progress through to 19 years old
• There will be a proactive strategy to ensure
  David can move into appropriate courses training
  or employment
• If David drops out of a course he will be picked
  up and supported back into education, employment
  or training
