PROCESS OF SELECTION FOR OUTBOUND STUDENTS
  • The Faculty Deans and Chairpersons ( or
    International Activities coordinators) select the
    students, based on Academic qualifications such
    as
  • GPA At least 3.5
  • Credits Earned At least 60
  • Language aptitude requirement IELTS/ TOEFL

ACADEMIC PROCESS INVOLVED
  • The Faculty Dean / Chair / IA Advisor counsels
    the students on course selection at AU and the
    targeted international university
  • Course descriptions/materials
  • Credit value
  • Transfer of Credits
  • The Dean approves of the study plan

OIA SUPPORT
  • Provide the student with list of institutions and
    course offerings
  • Provide the student with appropriate AUSEP
    applications forms
  • Interview the student
  • Counsel the student on visa application process
  • OIA does not and cannot arrange student visas.

Academic Arrangements based on the principle of
Reciprocity
  • AU outbound students enjoy the following
    facilities
  • Register and pay their fees at AU, travel and
    study at Partner universities free for the
    equivalent amount of credits registered for at AU
  • Automatic transfer of credits and value of grades
    with minimum pass into the AU degree

Responsibilities of AU Outbound students
  • Pay university and tuition fees at AU
  • Pay housing fees at AU
  • Pay for visa fees and air ticket (roundtrip)
  • Pay all overseas living expenses
  • Pay all related academic costs such as books etc
  • Be covered by International Medical and Accident
    Insurance
