- Appointment of Deputy Executive Dean - as soon
as possible to assist Pro Vice-Chancellor in
planning role during 2001 - Processes are being devised for the early
appointment of Heads of Schools and Assistant
Deans - A consultant has been employed, by the
University, to consider job relativities for
HEW10 positions across the University (currently
underway) - Director, Faculty Services positions for all
Faculties and other key senior roles in Student
Services Division to be advertised by the end of
August (ideally to be finalised by end Sept) - Faculty Business Manager, Faculty Student
Services Manager and Faculty IT Manager positions
to be filled as soon as possible after the
Director Faculty Services position filled - Final University Restructure proposal document,
including the process for positions other than
those mentioned above, to be released 3 September
2001 - The majority of changes to all positions to
occur following University Council meeting 26
October 2001 - Discipline groups to be maintained on a less
formal basis
