13CWEF CANADIAN CHAPTER
- General Brock Elementary School has a
significant number of students with serious
deficiencies in English. To help these students,
the school has developed a leveled reading
room. Leveled books contain age appropriate
subject matter written in the adjusted reading
levels of students in need. The school has only
just begun building their collection of leveled
books, and is in need of financial assistance if
they are to be able to continue to develop this
valuable resource. - MOTION from CWEF Canadian Chapter
- That CWEF provide financial support to
General Brock Secondary School to provide books
for their leveled reading room.

24India Bound?
- If you plan to visit India, then maybe you can
volunteer to visit one or more of the
Institutions that we are associated with. The
children of widowed mothers that we assist study
in these Institutions.
25 SOME PREVIOUS VISITS
- Bala Tuli Ashok Tuli visited S.S.M.G. School,
Haripur Kalan, Utteranchal. They were very well
received by Principal, Mr. G.S Rana, and the
teachers of this institution. They gave
encouragement to the students to realize their
full potential through education. - (Year 2001 2002)
26- Mr. Ramesh Sehgal visited D.A.V. Senior
Secondary Schoolin Hoshiarpur, Panjab. He met
mothers who were receiving assistance for the
education of their children in this school. He
was emotionally touched by their expression of
thanks and their commitment for education of
their children. - (Year 2002 2003)
27- Rashmi and Satinder Bhayana visited Jain Senior
Secondary School in Rohtak, Haryana. They met the
Principal, teachers and students whose mothers
are assisted. Vipin Bhayana from London attended
the 3 AGM of CWEF. He spoke on behalf of his
brother and told the meeting as to how pleased
his brother was about this visit.
28- Yash Aneja visited Government Girls Senior
Secondary School for Girls in Jacobpura, Gurgaon,
Haryana. He met Faculty members and Principal of
this school. He was impressed by their commitment
to assisting the needy. Following the request of
the Principal of this school, all needy widows
whose children study in this school were assisted
the following year. (2003-2004)
29- Siyaram Pandey visited Shri Mahant Ram B.D.U.M.
Vidyalaya in Bhurkura, District Ghazipur, U.P. He
met students, Faculty members and the Principal
of this school. He brought back an inspirational
video that he prepared with regards to his visit
to this school. This video was shown last year at
the AGM. It is available for viewing. (2003
2004)

31- Rathna Prakash and Shankar Prakash visited
Sunshine English School in Bangalore, Karnataka.
They met students, Faculty members and the
Principal of this school and were very impressed.
They brought back pictures and video of their
visit to this school. (2004 2005)
32- Krishna Chandna and Om Chandna visited S.B.A.C.
School in Bajwara and Smt. P.D. Arya Mahila
Higher Secondary School in Hoshiarpur, Panjab.
They met students, teachers and Principals of
these schools. Krishna Chandna was asked to
address students of P.D. Arya School. She
addressed the students whose mothers are
assisted. (2004 2005)
