Prayer Wheel

• A Tibetan Buddhist praying instrument, it always
  bears the mystical word OM MANI PADME HUM (Hail
  the jewel in the lotus). These six syllables are
  carved outside and written on paper on the
  inside.
• This cylinder turns around a handle easily
  (thanks to a cord or ballasted chain, which keeps
  it in motion). Each turn generates as much merit
  as the reading of the formula enclosed inside the
  wheel.
