Energy Recoverable OLED
  • A metal layer should be deposited on TFT to
    prevent TFT from being disturbed by the light
    emitted by OLED, but it will reflect the sun
    light thus decreases the contrast of the display.
  • Solar Cell was used between TFT and OLED to
    absorb both the sun light and the emitted light
    of OLED to solved the contrast problem and to
    achieve the energy-recoverable OLED.

Conclusions
  • The performance of two devices, including a TFT
    with a a-SiH solar cell on top and a TFT with a
    OLED on top, were studied and a detailed
    fabrication processes of the energy- recoverable
    OLED were shown.
  • The a-Si1-xGe xH films fabricated with different
    Ge fraction. After analyzing the optical gap and
    the FTIR specta, the optimum x, 0.25, is
    determined.
