13
When should my student take the SAT/ACT?
  • SAT/ACT The best time to take any test is
when the student is academically ready to do so.
  • To determine your students optimum test time,
    consider the following
  • S/he should have recently finished English 11 or
    AP English Language.
  • S/he should have finished at least Algebra II.
  • In order to be adequately prepared to apply to
colleges in 12thgrade, we recommend that students
test at least once (SAT and/or ACT) in the 11th
grade. By doing so, students have at least one
more opportunity to re-test in 12th grade.
  • SAT SUBJECT TESTS Take the subject test as soon
as possible after completing the corresponding
    course

14
Community College Admission
  • No specific course requirements must be met prior
    to entrance.
  • SAT/ACT tests are not required.

    programs
  • Any student may enroll at a community college if
