Step 6 Publish Your Podcast
Publishing your podcast means you will upload it
to a server where it can be accessed by
listeners. You can either publish locally (on
your local server), or globally (on the internet).
Red means Ready to Publish.
Publishing Options You can select to have
password protection in Tool Factory Podcasting
Options.
After a podcast is published, the Publish button
turns green.

Step 7 Promote Your Podcast

Email Your Link
Copy the Link
When a user subscribes to your podcast they
should paste the link into their podcatching
software such as Doppler or iTunes.

Step 8 Subscribe
Using iTunes
Open iTunes and click on Advanced gt Subscribe to
Podcast.
Simply paste the RSS link into the Subscribe box.
You have now subscribed to a podcast. You will
notice that iTunes is now downloading the
podcast. Just click and listen!
Tool Factory Tip To organize your podcasts in
iTunes click on the triangle beside the podcast
name. This will hide or reveal all episodes of
the podcast for easier surfing.

Saving Your Podcast


Click on the Save button. Select your format.

You may wish to save a single recording to use
again in another podcast. To do this you need to
export the recording.
Click on the Export button. Save the recording as
an MP3 or WAV.

Get Album Artwork
To view your episodes pictures in iTunes you
will need to access the album artwork.
Click on View Show Artwork. Your image will
appear in the bottom left hand corner of your
iTunes application.
