11VVA FORUMFall 99 Call for Papers
The VVA Forum is focused on methodologies,
procedures, and associated techniques which may
be used to establish credibility of federations.
The VVA objectives emphasize quality (e.g.,
building in authoritative representations and
behaviors) and risk management. This Forum
will support the development and evolution of
VVA guidance (in the form of standards,
recommended practices, and/or guides) which
supplement the federation development/application
lifecycle process model documentation. In
conjunction with the Behavior Forum, VVA will be
focusing on issues related to the VV of human
and organizational behavior.
12VVA FORUMFall 99 CFP Paper Topics
- VVA and its overlay onto the Federation
Development and Execution Process (FEDEP). - Relationship and linkages between the VVA and
testing processes. - Data verification and validation, an inherent
part of the VVA process. - Fidelity and its role in the validation process.
- Relationship between the CMMS and the conceptual
model of a Federate/Federation. - Architecture design and its impact on results
credibility. - Management aspects of VVA.
- Metrics for costing VVA.
- Human and organizational behavior VV, with
emphasis on the description and application of
non-SME based concepts, processes and
procedures. - VVA of distributed simulations lessons learned,
with particular emphasis on cost/benefit analysis
and the integration of VV and program (e.g.,
development, test, training) processes.
