Use of Sharp objects at construction sites

• Construction workers have to deal with lot of
  sharp tools which can expose them to Hepatitis B
  C if they get an injury.
• If ever they get an injury they shall force the
  blood out little bit and wash that part with tap
  water and immediately inform their supervisor for
  further help.
• They are also advised to wear rubber gloves while
  dealing with sharp objects.

Barber shops

• Because of constructions in different regions,
  the workers visit different barbers in different
  regions and unaware about their hygiene they are
  at risk of contracting Hepatitis B C from the
  barber shops.
• They can manage this by carrying their own
  scissor, comb and razors and make sure the barber
  hands are clean.

Eating at different places

• As workers have to eat at different places, they
  can get Hepatitis A E by eating unhygienic food
  items.
• They are advised to make sure the food they are
  taking is hygienic and wash their hands before
  and after every meal.

Accidents and emergencies

• As construction workers are always at risk of
  accident or they can come in contact with other
  accidents and sometimes they can be involved in
  rescue works which exposes them to the blood of
  others which can expose them to Hepatitis B C.
• They are advised to take extreme precautions
  while handling such cases. They shall avoid
  contact of blood of any injured person or if they
  get stained at any part of the body, it should be
  immediately washed. Construction workers must
  always protect their open wounds or injuries in
  water proof dressings.
• In case of accidents the workers should consult a
  medical professional. Ideally the construction
  project management should provide emergency
  medical facilities and opportunities at site for
  their workers.
