Status of the WP1 PM9 release

• UI, JSS, LB, II ready
• Some problems with RB
• Some problems in the matchmaking with the new GIS
  schema (agreed ? just few weeks ago)
• Interface with RC
• Waiting for Condor-G bug fix (problem under
  stress conditions)
• No extensive/stress tests done
• Hopefully ready by October 15th (with Globus
  1.1.3)

WP1 and Globus (1.1.3 and 2.0)

• Many Globus services exploited in WP1 software
  GSI, MDS, GRAM
• Now Globus 1.1.3 alpha 4 deployed in WP1 testbed
  
• MDS2.1 alpha 3
• persistent jobmanager (by Condor) customized
  by WP1 for logging functionalities
• Globus 1.1.3 ? Globus 2.0
• Some tests with LB sw and GT2 alpha already
  performed various small changes wrt GT 1.1.3
  found in GSI (the only Globus service used by
  LB)
• Small changes in APIs, behavior, etc. expected
  (and welcome)
• ?Tests needed with Globus 2.0 to see if
  everything keeps working and to implement the
  required modifications (if necessary)
