  • TEL Office will have 9 libraries to deal with(
    25 non-EDLproject libraries)
  • Aim to spread total workload over 12 months (max.
    attention for each library)
  • Try to start with Greece (Ireland,
    Liechtenstein)- Easy connection via Z39.50-
    Non-exclusive language
  • Exact country order will be finalised before
    February

  • All collection descriptions completed(min.
    English local language)
  • All metadata up to standard (TEL AP) and
    implemented,all conversions done
  • All infrastructure (OAI, Z39.50, SRU, OpenURL) up
    to standard and implemented, local SRU/Z39.50
    gateways operational
  • All translations done (interface, helptexts )
  • All of the above tested (also by TEL Office)
  • Marketing for TEL underway (local MC plan,
    linking programme, press list)
  • Libraries ready to join The European Library
