Somebody was groaning
And I felt very cold
I wish they would shut up and give me some

Looking back it was the worst time of my life. I
dont know if I would ever get back with her, but
Id try, to say sorry for everything Ive put her
through. My life would be changed my lifestyle
would be different, because I would have the
anger inside, not bottling everything inside.
Drink used to allow everything to come out,
angrily! There is more to life than
drink. Stephen.

Bored all day, family have given up on me. On
some occasions Im lucky to be involved in the
conversation, most of the time its a very lonely
place for me. Visiting time over, I have a
conversation with Joe in next bed. Are you going
home tomorrow? I ask him, Dont know was the
reply. I did manage to get a nap but was woken
up by Joe pacing the ward in pain. Doctors and
nurses running to and fro, surrounding Joes
bed. curtains closed around next bed, then
silence. Doctors walking out of ward. Joe had
died.   Is this enough to stop me? as a result
of alcohol abuse I have damaged the part of my
brain that controls my balance, co-ordination and
speech and here I am feeling lucky?
