• Consider working with a teacher from another
  discipline to prepare a cross-curriculum
  fieldtrip.
• Next, choose a catchy title to capture everyones
  attention and to create interest.
• Provide details as to how this Virtual Fieldtrip
  should be implemented.

• Planning is essential select each topic or
  subtopic and question to be answered. These will
  act like the Roman Numerals in an outline.
• Activities can and should be incorporated here.
  You do not have to include an activity for every
  topic/subtopic.
• Organize the VFT sequentially as you would for a
  real fieldtrip.
• Images help and hyperlinks are vital.
• Allow adequate time to complete the VFT.
• Check that hyperlinks work on your students
  computers.
