A Plan to Slow Global Warming

• A global problem demands a global response
• Kyoto Protocol an international attempt to
  reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels
• 156 countries involved in the initial writing
• Agreement went into force Feb. 2005
• The United States did NOT join the final group
• As a class you will try to reach an agreement
  similar to the Kyoto Protocol
