Correlated Electron Transport in Mesoscopic

Electron transport is sensitive to a tiny amount
of magnetic impurities in a conductor. An
electron flips its spin and looses energy when
scattering off such impurities. Conduction
measurements may yield information about the
impurity density and spin dynamics.
