Double-Entry Accounting
  • Debits increase assets and expenses while credits
    increase liabilities, owners equity and revenues
  • The normal balance of accounts is the same as the
    increase side
  • Real accounts are balance sheet accounts, nominal
    accounts are income statement accounts
