Air Shot

• Check insulin flow
• Dial 2 units
• Depress plunger
• Hold pen vertically
• Observe insulin
• Disperse through needle

Insulin Injection

• Insulin mixtures - shake pen by inverting
• - Incorrect mix of insulin
• Prepare skin - stretch or perform lifted
  skin fold
• Insert needle 90 deg angle
• Depress plunger
• Remove needle after 5 - 10 seconds
