- In an effort to support post-secondary education
for Aboriginal students, the University of
Manitoba provides a welcoming and supportive
environment with the addition of Aboriginal
House, the new home for the Aboriginal Student
Centre, Aboriginal Student Association and Access
Programs.
- The University of Manitoba also offers programs
specifically for Aboriginal students who are
pursuing careers in areas such as healthcare,
engineering and business.

- Since 1904, our students have won 92 Rhodes
Scholarships, the most in Western Canada.
- A total of 8.3 per cent of newly admitted
students enter the University of Manitoba with
high school averages of 95 per cent or higher
the fourth highest percentage of such students in
