What is soil erosion ?

• Soil erosion refers to the removal of soil,
  especially of the fertile top soil
• Layer, by wind and running water.

• Plants protect the soil against the force of rain
  and wind. So grow more trees.

• Afforestation along hill slopes and other
  uncultivated lands
