Title: The Donut Hole
1The Donut Hole
2The History of the Hole
- Chrysta Brown went out of her way to visit two
places everyday Dunkin Donuts where she had a
Bavarian Cream Donut, and Starbucks where she had
a Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Although she attempted
to visit both places in succession on the days
where she was pressed for time she was forced to
chose between a cup of coffee and a donut. She
also found that although the ballet company where
she was employed as a principal dancer was one of
the best paying ballet companies, her salary was
not conducive to her love for donuts and coffee.
In 2007, Chrysta took what money she had left
and opened the doors to The Donut Hole, a place
where customers could get the high quality
coffees they would purchase at chain coffee
shops, and delicious donuts like those from
neighborhood donut shops. The Donut Hole is an
establishment much like a café that operates
under the pretense that cheep and high quality
can coexistmuch like coffee and a donut.
