GLP Structure

• Grade 10
• 0.5 credit in Leadership Enrichment and
  Development (outside of the regular timetable)
  including volunteer commitments, skill building
  workshops, conferences, guest speakers, field
  trips, and a team building retreat.

• 0.5 credit in Leadership Enrichment and
  Development (outside of the regular timetable)
  including volunteer commitments, skill building
  workshops, conferences, guest speakers, field
  trips, and a skills challenge retreat.

• Grade 11
• 0.5 credit in Leadership Enrichment and
  Development (outside of the regular timetable)
  including completion of the Diversity Leadership
  Program through the nationally recognized Harmony
  Movement and 10 hours of instruction in the
  elementary schools, conferences, guest speakers,
  and field trips.

• 0.5 credit in Leadership Enrichment and
  Development (outside of the regular timetable)
  including completion of portfolio, conferences,
  guest speakers, field trips, and a major travel
  event organized by the students.

• Grade 11 12
• 1 credit in Co-operative Education with a focus
  within the realm of global rights and complete 2
  major presentations, papers, or independent study
  projects, each with a focus on global rights.

• Complete 4 major presentations, papers, or
  independent study projects, each with a focus on
  global rights.

• challenge youth to recognize and strengthen their
  leadership skills while positively affecting
  social and attitudinal change in their schools
  and communities

• work with staff advisors to develop and deliver a
  program, activity, or event that will represent
  their area of focus within the realm of global
  rights
