  arrive at U.S. ports

24-hour Rule

• US legislation
• Applies to all ports
• Requires carriers/ NVOCCs to submit advance cargo

• Non-compliance may cause delay of unlading/
  penalty/ liquidated damages

• Information to be submitted 24 hours before
  loading of cargo
