Mock Interviewing EventNovember 18th , 2009
  • The Career Centre _at_ Western is committed to
contributing to the professional development of
our students, while also providing recruiters
with innovative ways to brand themselves on
campus.  As part of our commitment the Career
Centre is holding its first Mock Interviewing
Event for students and we would like to invite
our Corporate Recruiters to join us.
  • The event is a twist on speed dating and will
involve recruiters meeting with students for 5
minutes and asking them an interview question
(which the Career Centre will provide).  After 5
minutes a bell will ring and another student will
take their place.  It is a great opportunity to
interact with Westerns students and boost the
profile of your organization on campus.
  • In addition, the University of Western Ontario
would like to thank you for your involvement with
our students and we invite you to join us at a
    reception occurring after the event.

Continuing Studies and Professional Development
  • Continuing Studies at Western specializes in
    adult learning.
  • We understand the unique needs of adults and
    design all of our
  • courses and programs with those needs in mind. We
    know that
  • one of the greatest challenges facing adults who
    want to return
  • to or continue learning is a fear of failure, and
    we go to great
  • lengths to provide an environment that will
    enable students to
  • be successful, while at the same time challenging
    them to push
  • their boundaries. Designing innovative, unique
    and exciting
  • programs, and choosing exceptional instructors
    who understand
  • adult learning are the most important things we
    do this is what
  • sets us apart as a leader in continuing
    education.
