Course Registration
Candidature Period

• Part-time Programme
• Maximum Period Six (6) Academic Years

• Full-time Programme
• Maximum Period Four (4) Academic Years

• Course Deferment
• A candidate can only defer his/her course of
  study for a
• maximum period of one year, and not more than
  two
• times throughout the whole period of his/her
• candidature.

0 of the course fee shall be refunded if a
student drop subject/s within the first four
weeks of any module. No refund after this
period. Students are allowed to withdraw any
subject two weeks prior to the examination.

Examination

• The examination shall consist of the
  following
• Taught Subject (2 evaluation components)
• Coursework Final Examination
• Project
• 100 Coursework Mark

Examination
Eligibility for Examinations and Project

• A student is eligible to sit for final
  examination if
• has registered officially for a subject
• has paid all the tuition fees and
• has attained at least 75 attendance of
  lectures, tutorial laboratory for the subject.
• Registration of Thesis Project
• CGPA must 3.00 and above (unless approved by the
  Board of Examiners). Qualified students for
  examinations are required to print exam slip
  (on-line) as a proof of eligibility for
  examination.

Absence from Examinations Medical Reason
(supported by Medical Report MC) / Humanitarian
Reasons / Involved with Company Activities or
etc. Grade I (Incomplete) Should the reason
is acceptable to the Board of Examiners. I
status is valid for a year. No need to re do the
coursework. Grade F (Fail) Should the reason
is not acceptable to the Board of
Examiners. Grade U (equivalent to F) Absent
without any reason.

Examination

• Re-sit of Subject (Fail)
• You are allowed to re-sit a subject up to a
  maximum of
• TWO times.
• Repeat of Subject (to improve grade)
• You are allowed to repeat only ONCE for any
  subject
• full fees of the subject (100)
• You are required to re-do the entire course
  work and
• examination for that particular subject
  entire subject
• Only the latest /recent grade shall be taken
  into account
• for the computation of the CGPA.
• Full fees (100 tuition fees).

Examination
Appeal for Re-grading If you have sufficient
grounds to believe that you have been unjustly
graded, or an error has occurred in the final
exam marking you may appeal to the Board of
Examiners through the ERU Office. The appeal must
be made within the first week of the next
trimester.

• Termination

  acceptable excuse

• conduct himself in such a manner that is

• contravene any Statute, Rule or Regulation

• After completing 16 credit hours, the CGPA
  is below 2.00
• After completing 24 credit hours, the CGPA
  is below 2.67
• You may appeal to the President for
  reinstatement. Appeal letter must be
  submitted through ERU.

Convocation

• Award of Degree
• You will be awarded with a Master in Knowledge
  Management with Multimedia if
• has passed all subjects, projects and
  attained a minimum CGPA of 3.00 for the
  programme and
• have fulfilled all the requirement of this
  Regulation
• have paid all outstanding dues to the
  University.
