WIP Future Objectives

• To strengthen standards of interventional pain
  practice on a global scale
• Educate pain physicians and patients
• To have a network of centres of excellence for
  the training of pain physicians
• Plan a strategy for basic and clinical research.
• Develop pain management guidelines, protocols and
  techniques.
• Strategize with other significant pain societies
  to form a pain consortium for recognition of pain
  medicine as a specialty.
• To form a scholarship fund for assistance to the
  pain trainees and faculty.
