What we need

• Continuous Heart rate monitor
• Chest strap
• Other continuous measurement means
• Wirelessly transmits data throughout workout
• Wireless range large enough to pick up a person
  anywhere on the track
• Reasonable Accuracy
• Must be able to access the raw heart rate data

• Is a design project in itself
• Would have to find electrodes
• Probably 2 electrode chest strap design
• Filtering
• Only send Heart rate data
• Amplification
• Wireless transmission

• Compatible with LabView
• Does not need to be calibrated
• Records and wirelessly sends continuous heart
  rate data
• Uses chest strap
• Compatible with TI calculators and PDAs for data
  recording

• MAIN PROBLEM
• Reciever range 80-100cm (about 3 feet)
• Could record the data then download to program
  later
