Castle
Original castle burned out in 1642. The castle
has gor two floors. From 1702 to 1766 holder of
earldom Karel Josef von Palm-Gundenfingen or Jan
Leopold Donát z Trautsonu lived here. In 1926
castle was changed to school. Now the castle
serves as training and relax centre.

Town hall
It was built by Jindrich Strela from Rokyce in
1606. It is two-floors building and it is seat of
council.

Bell tower
Near the chruch there is bell tower from 1351. In
18th centrury it was built in baroque style.
Near the bell tower can be found the monument of
victims from 1st world war. It is the dominating
factor in Cechtice.

Church St. Jakub
The original St.Jakub church was in Gothic style.
After many fires it was rebuilt several times.
It is single-nave. High altar is in rococo style
with angels at the sides and with picture of St.
Jakub in the centre.
