biking, or golf. Healthy eating habits such as
eating a well balanced diet, regular meal times,
and a relaxed atmosphere. Avoid taking addictive
substances.
SPIRITUALITY Attend Community Spiritual /
Worship Services. Attend Cultural
events. Meditation.
ADHERENCE TO TREATMENT PLAN Take medications as
prescribed. Attend and participate in counseling
/ group sessions. Keep appointments.
SELF-REWARDS Enjoy old or new hobbies such as
gardening, stamp collecting, square dancing,
gourmet cooking, golfing, or other sports. Treat
yourself, for example Go to a play, a movie, or
a concert. Dine out, take a vacation, or read a
good book.
PRODUCTIVITY Start or continue working on a
regular basis. Stay busy volunteering. Stay or
become involved in personal, family, workplace,
or community events or projects.
RELATIONSHIPS Avoid isolating yourself. Attend
social functions or go to coffee with friends or
co-workers. Foster supportive relationships with
those people who care about you.
