PFS background

• What is the Protective Factors Survey and why was
  it initiated?
• The Protective Factors Survey is designed to
  identify changes in multiple protective factors.
• The Protective Factors Survey was developed in
  response to the federal requirement that programs
  provide evidence of the effectiveness of their
  work. With the shift toward enhancing protective
  factors, the workgroup decided to focus on
  measuring these factors to assess prevention
  efforts.
