  • Can View Information
  • REP Reporter
  • Can Add and Change Information
  • POC Point of Contact
  • Can Add and Change Information
  • Manages Users

4
Read-Only Role
  • Read-Only (RO) is a person assigned by the POC to
view the information in the System. Based on a
RO's logon and password the system presents only
    the RO's information.
  • ROs have no system responsibility.
  • ROs should contact their POC with business
    questions about the reported information.

5
Reporter Role
  • A Reporter is a person assigned by the POC to
report the information required by the System.
Based on a Reporter's email and password the
system presents only the Reporter's information.
  • Reporters are responsible for
  • The completeness and correctness of information
    provided into the System
  • For keeping their contact information up to date.
  • Reporters should contact their POC with business
    questions about the reported information.

6
Point of Contact Role
  • A POC (Point of Contact) is a person assigned to
manage the reporting of information to the
System. Based on a POC's email and password the
System presents only the POC relevant
    information.
  • POCs are responsible for
  • Management of Reporters and Read-Only users
  • The completeness and correctness of the
    information provided to the System
  • Keeping their contact information up to date
  • Reporters and Read-Only users should contact
their POC with business questions about the
    reported information.

7
Save and Mark Complete Process
  • Any data entered into a FIDO system can be saved,
even if it is not complete.
  • The validation process allows the collected data
to be checked for completeness and correctness.
  • When complete and correct the data can be Marked
    Complete and made read only.
  • Note Usually the POC must Unmark Complete. A REP
    can not.

8
Save, Save, Save
  • FIDO.gov uses the Internet to collect and
    distribute information.
  • When adding data you are re-connected to the
Internet each time you Save your work.
  • There is a timeout limit, usually 20 minutes to 2
hours. If you dont Save your work at least once
during that period, then your current work is
    lost.
  • So Save frequently.
