Learning Resources on campus

• The LRC is located in the heart of the Campus,

• A3, A4 scanners. 35mm slide scanner. Graphics
  tablet. Laser/inkjet printing. Large format
  printing. Digital video editing. Digital cameras,
  Mini DV cameras.
• Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft
  Office, Quark Express, Vectorworks, Solidworks.
  (varies by room).
• Specialist help from the AV and IT team at the
  Multimedia Desk.

• Support with speaking about your work- advice
  and opportunities to practice speaking for your
  crits, reviews and presentations.
• English language development- punctuation,
  spelling, grammar, increasing your vocabulary,
  and more.
• Numeracy support- for all students who need help
  with maths.

What does the ELLS team offer?

• 30-minute individual tutorials that are free and
  confidential. Book online.
• General workshops or classes at Trent Park free
  to everybody. No need to enrol in advance, just
  turn up on the day. Begin in Week 2. See online
  schedule.
• Workshops that are tailored to the subject you
  are studying (your course lecturers will organise
  these)
• Online tutorials on OasisPlus
• Online writing courses free to everybody.

• Your IT User ID is printed on the back of your
  student card. It is usually your initials
  followed by 3 or more digits.
• Write down your IT user ID now

• Write down your password now

  first time you login, so think of a new one now.
• It MUST be at least 8 characters long and
  includeAt least 1 letter in UPPERCASEAt least
  1 letter in lowercaseAt least 1 number

• Pick something you are going to easily remember.
• Think of your new password now
