EDG Home Page Become a Registered User
Click on the Become a registered user link to
start the registration process.

EDG User Registration fill in form and
Continue
The required fields for user registration are
labeled in red and have an asterisk () beside
the label. Fill out the form and then click the
Continue button at the bottom of the page.

EDG User Registration select username and
password
The required fields for user registration are
labeled in red and have an asterisk () beside
the label. After you select your password and
account name, click on the Submit Registration
button.

EDG User Registration select username and

The EDG system will return a confirmation about
your new account like this one. Click on the
Account sign-in button to log into the EDG.
A sign-in window will appear and you must enter
the User Name and the Password for the account
you just created. Click the OK button to
proceed.

EDG Primary Search page Select Method 1
Enter the Earth Science Data Type (ESDT) Short
Name in the Data Set Lookup text field and then
click on the GO button to start the search
process
